On May 26 at 6 PM, ALPHA DRIVE ONE released their prologue single ‘No School Tomorrow’ and unveiled the track and music video for the title song ‘OMG!’, marking their first comeback since debut.
‘No School Tomorrow’ is set against the backdrop of a sudden school closure, capturing the free and diverse emotions of boys escaping their ordinary daily lives. It blends the excitement and sense of liberation that comes with an unexpected day off, adding early summer boyish charm and a ‘Cold Summer Youth’ mood to showcase ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s unique youthful energy.
The title track ‘OMG!’ is a Hip-hop R&B song that harmonizes intense hip-hop beats with trendy synthesizer sounds. It captures the boys’ ever-changing emotions and growing excitement, much like unpredictable weather, in a cheerful yet romantic atmosphere.
From the very start, the lyrics “Oh my god, an exclamation mark pops up over my head, Oh my god, I feel like I can be anything, Oh my god, I’ve been excited all day, why am I like this, On and on, back and forth, Gon’ be okay” repeat throughout the song, making it an absolute earworm.
