Seo Hyo-rim recently shared her feelings on social media, stating, “I think of Mother even more during the kimchi-making season,” and added, “I finally understand why she used to make so much kimchi to share with others.” She expressed her heartache, noting, “At some point, I realized I am doing the exact same thing,” while recalling the warm heart of the late Kim Soo-mi.
The shared photos showed her making kimchi, with an impressive amount of cabbage and kimchi catching the eye. It was a moment that captured her deep longing for the deceased rather than just a glimpse into her daily routine.
However, another farewell has come for Seo Hyo-rim. The late Jung Chang-gyu, the husband of Kim Soo-mi and Seo Hyo-rim’s father-in-law, has passed away.
This sad news comes approximately 1 year and 7 months after Kim Soo-mi passed away last October. For Seo Hyo-rim, who has a husband, Jung Myung-ho, and a daughter, this is another parting before the previous grief had even faded.
Adding to the pain, it has recently come to light that there were unpaid appearance fees for the musical ‘Chin-jung Eomma’ in which the late Kim Soo-mi performed.
