On May 1, a video titled “The code I write is Lee Sora w. Code Kunst | Lee Sora’s First Spring [ep.8]” was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Lee Sora’.
During the episode, Code Kunst shared a heartfelt letter with Lee Sora, saying, “Thank you for teaching me how to get close to loneliness.” When Lee Sora asked for clarification, Code Kunst admitted, “It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this nervous. It’s been a while since I’ve met a musician I truly love for the first time.”

Calling her “the artist I respect the most,” Code Kunst recalled his early music days, saying, “I’m not like that now, but when I first started making music, I used to go to sleep around 5 or 6 AM.”
He confessed, “I always listened to your 5th album last. Listening to someone’s voice while working made me feel like I was with someone. But once I turned off the power, I often felt lonely, realizing ‘I’ve been alone all this time’.”
He continued, “I made sure to listen to the 5th album at the very end. Through that, I realized that loneliness isn’t an emotion to be hated, but one to be loved. I felt that I should treat loneliness and emptiness like a friend,” a sentiment that deeply resonated with viewers.
Netizens reacted with excitement, commenting, “Young musicians who were comforted by Lee Sora’s songs are now in a position to influence her music. I’m looking forward to the different synergy and the next level of music they’ll create together.”
