Singer-songwriter Ha Hyunsang has connected with fans by releasing high-quality band live clips.
On May 4, Ha Hyunsang unveiled live clips for every single track from his second full-length album, ‘New Boat’, via his official YouTube channel.
Starting with the sound of a whistle, the live clips feature all nine songs from ‘New Boat’ performed with a band session, capturing both the eyes and ears. The sight of Ha Hyunsang playing the guitar barefoot, combined with dynamic camera movements, added even more excitement for viewers.
Set in a space bathed in warm sunlight, Ha Hyunsang’s deep vocals and delicate guitar melodies blended perfectly to maximize the emotional impact. He created a deep, lingering resonance by heightening the immersion with a vivid band sound.
In particular, Ha Hyunsang delivered band live versions of every track, including ‘Playback’, ‘No wayway’, ‘Tiny dance’, ‘biscuit (Feat. SUMIN)’, ‘RADIO RADIO’, ‘러브레터’, ‘+++’, ‘오디세이’, and ‘New Boat’. By weaving various genres into a single flow, he proved his true value as a performance-type artist.
‘New Boat’ is Ha Hyunsang’s first full-length album in about three years. It serves as a milestone, moving beyond familiar routes toward a wider musical ocean. Ha Hyunsang led the production of all tracks, implementing his own musical language in a more multifaceted and fresh way.
Meanwhile, Ha Hyunsang recently successfully wrapped up a solo concert at Billboard Live TAIPEI, which was completely sold out, drawing an enthusiastic response from local fans.
