Actress Kang Ye-won has shared her heartfelt gratitude while navigating the deep sorrow of losing her father.
On May 5, Kang Ye-won took to her SNS, writing, “The warm hands that held mine, the sincere words of comfort, and those who rushed to be by my side. Your warmth and condolences helped me conduct the funeral peacefully, as my father would have wished, even while I struggled with the pain of letting him go.”
She added, “Thanks to you, I am slowly finding my peace of mind. While it is only right that I visit and thank you in person, I am still quite overwhelmed, so I am sending my gratitude in writing first. I hope you can understand.”
Kang Ye-won expressed her gratitude once more, saying, “Please do not forget to contact me during your own family’s important events so that I may have the opportunity to repay your kindness.”
She concluded her message by saying, “I sincerely pray that everything you do goes as planned and that health and happiness always remain with your family.”
Previously, an acquaintance of Kang Ye-won shared the sad news on SNS on the 30th of last month, explaining that “she is currently unable to contact everyone individually as she is overwhelmed.”
In a particularly heartbreaking post on the 29th of last month, Kang Ye-won revealed her deep affection for her father, writing, “Dad is in a nursing hospital. I tried to play my YouTube videos for him so he wouldn’t be bored all day, but the tablet was too old and didn’t work. I just installed the holder for him. I’ll try again this week.”
