In ‘Happy Our Good Day,’ Kim Hye-ok shed tears of betrayal after discovering that her husband, Sunwoo Jae-duk, had been deceiving her by hiding his job loss and working as a cleaner.
In the KBS1 daily drama ‘Happy Our Good Day’ aired on the 8th, Kang Yeon-ja (Kim Hye-ok) was left in shock after finding out that her husband, Jo Sung-jun (Sunwoo Jae-duk), was working as a cleaner at the company.
Kang Yeon-ja ran into Jo Sung-jun while he was cleaning the lobby of Kangsu Construction. A flustered Jo Sung-jun told her, “I was going to tell you everything today.” As he asked her to wait at a cafe while he returned to work, Kang Yeon-ja couldn’t believe the reality, asking, “Am I still drunk from yesterday?”
Eun Su-jeong (Moon Hee-kyung), who happened to witness the encounter, reacted by saying, “I guess he was our company’s cleaner. He acted so arrogant despite that?” Meanwhile, Yoo Jung-ran (Lee Sang-sook) expressed concern, noting, “What do you mean ‘despite that’? Cleaners are also legitimate employees of our company. But it seems Kang Yeon-ja didn’t know what her husband was doing.”
After returning home, Jo Sung-jun confessed his job loss to his wife and shared the heartache of not being able to tell her sooner. However, Kang Yeon-ja could not hide her sense of betrayal over the deception. Jo Sung-jun emphasized that he had planned to tell her once he found a new job. Their three children also pleaded, explaining that their father couldn’t speak up because they were still struggling to find their own footing in life.

Meanwhile, Go Gyeol (Yoon Jong-hoon) was deeply worried about Jo Eun-ae (Um Hyun-kyung), who seemed to have an urgent matter at home. He eventually went to the front of her house, making an excuse that he visited because of the name of the silver town. Jo Eun-ae asked, “Couldn’t you have just texted or called?” and Go Gyeol confessed, “I was worried if something bad happened at home.” When Jo Eun-ae asked why the team leader was worrying about her, Go Gyeol brushed it off, saying, “If you’re distracted by other things, won’t it affect the competition?” Jo Eun-ae replied, “Don’t worry. I won’t let personal matters distract you.”
While focusing on preparations for the competition back at the office, Jo Eun-ae received an urgent call from her younger sibling Eun-nim and looked shocked, while Go Gyeol watched her with a worried gaze, ending the episode.
In the preview, Kang Yeon-ja leaves home, and the family searches for her. The sight of Kang Yeon-ja feeling sorrowful because she has nowhere to go raised curiosity about the future developments of the story.
