In the upcoming episode of KBS2’s ‘Boss in the Mirror’ airing on the 10th, Dr. Byeon Hyung-kwon from the ENT department at Soonchunhyang University Hospital will make his debut as a new boss.
Dr. Byeon is a renowned authority in neck cancer and an expert in thyroid robot surgery, having performed approximately 5,000 surgeries over 22 years. He will reveal a surprising side of himself through his “100 nags a day” teaching method for residents.
With his sleek pomade hair and sharp suit, Dr. Byeon immediately caught everyone’s attention. Jun Hyun-moo was impressed, noting, “He has the look of an actor. He looks like Kim Tae-woo.”
An unexpected connection was also revealed: Dr. Byeon and Jun Hyun-moo are alumni of Yonsei University! As soon as Jun Hyun-moo realized he was his junior, he suddenly switched to a very friendly tone, calling him “Hyung-kwon,” which left the set in stitches.
The conversation then shifted to their school grades. When Dr. Byeon revealed he was ranked 1st in his entire school, Jun Hyun-moo shared, “I was at least 10th in my class. The competition was fierce because it was a foreign language high school.” Park Myung-soo surprised everyone by claiming, “I was 13th!”
Park Myung-soo caused a burst of laughter when asked when he stopped studying, candidly admitting, “After I got double eyelid surgery in my second year of high school.”
