A fresh breeze is blowing through ‘Knowing Bros’! With Kim Heechul taking a temporary break for health reasons, Kim Shin-young has joined as a new fixed member, bringing a delightful energy to the show.
On the 9th, JTBC’s ‘Knowing Bros’ released a pre-release clip titled, “Is it fun because we speak informally? Transfer students shaking the informal speech world again(?).”
During the episode, Seo Jang-hoon shared some “good news” and introduced the new fixed member, Kim Shin-young, to cheers from everyone. He jokingly added, “You guys just didn’t know, but our school has always been co-ed. It’s just that no female students had enrolled until now,” sparking laughter.
Kim Shin-young immediately took over the mood with her signature wit. When asked about joining the show, she joked, “The scholarship (appearance fee) agreement was dramatically settled,” and added, “I plan to bury my bones in this school,” leaving the set in stitches.
She playfully told the cast, “Everyone, this is a co-ed school. Don’t feel too awkward,” and added a laugh-inducing warning to Kim Young-chul, telling him “not to cross the line.”

Most notably, Kim Heechul’s absence was evident in the group shot. ‘Knowing Bros’ had previously announced on the 30th of last month that Kim Heechul would be taking a break, clarifying that “it is not a complete departure, and he will rejoin after sufficient recharging.” Consequently, Kim Heechul is absent starting from the May 9th broadcast.
With Kim Heechul, who has led ‘Knowing Bros’ for a long time, taking a step back, fans are eager to see what kind of energy and chemistry the newly joined Kim Shin-young will bring.
Meanwhile, ‘Knowing Bros’ airs every Saturday at 9 PM.
