On the latest episode of KBS2TV’s ‘Mr. House Husband 2’, singer Kim Jaejoong showed a firm side when talking about his biological parents.
During the May 9th broadcast, Kim Jaejoong stepped in to help Takuya. Being close with Takuya, he didn’t hold back his nagging, feeling that much of Takuya’s lifestyle was just for show.
Takuya shared that he recently tracked down and met his biological father. Kim Jaejoong, who was adopted into his current family at age 3, revealed, “I heard my biological father requested to visit me while I was in the military, but I refused. He sent letters, but I don’t keep them.” He praised Takuya’s strength, adding, “I don’t have the courage or the capacity to forgive like Takuya does. Being able to forgive someone is a truly incredible thing. Takuya is amazing.”
Kim Jaejoong then asked if Takuya’s stepfather knew about the meeting, to which Takuya replied no. Kim Jaejoong advised him, “Don’t do that. I worry about my family, and my family worries about us.” He shared his own experience, saying, “In the past, I secretly met my biological mother, and it turned the whole family upside down. But it was because they were so shocked.” He then encouraged Takuya to be brave.
