Composer Joo Young-hoon has once again clarified the dating rumors surrounding him and singer Uhm Jung-hwa.
In the episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Immortal Songs’ aired on the 9th, the second part of the ‘Lyricist and Composer Joo Young-hoon Special’ was broadcast.
During the show, Joo Young-hoon nodded while discussing Uhm Jung-hwa’s ‘Poison,’ mentioning that “there were many rumors back then.”
He shared, “I worked on Uhm Jung-hwa’s albums as if I were releasing my own. Whenever a new album came out, the names Joo Young-hoon and Uhm Jung-hwa were always linked. We were like a duo.” He added, “Whenever rumors spread about a dating scandal between ‘Sexy Female Singer A’ and ‘Composer B,’ many people thought it was us. Even broadcasting officials would look at me and say, ‘Oh, with Uhm Jung-hwa!'”
Joo Young-hoon caught everyone’s attention by stating, “If I may take this opportunity to say it once more, we have remained very good friends to this day.”
Meanwhile, Joo Young-hoon picked Uhm Jung-hwa’s ‘Festival’ and Kim Jong-kook’s ‘Lovely’ as the songs that brought him the most filial pride.
