‘2 Days & 1 Night’ is facing another shake-up in its lineup! Actor Lee Ki-taek is set to fill the void left by Yu Sun-ho, who is departing the show after 3 years and 6 months.
On the 14th, Lee Ki-taek’s agency, KeyEast, confirmed to OSEN, “It is correct that Lee Ki-taek is joining ‘2 Days & 1 Night Season 4’.”
This marks the second member change for ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ this year. Previously, Jo Se-ho left both tvN’s ‘You Quiz on the Block’ and KBS 2TV’s ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ after being embroiled in allegations of involvement with a key figure in organized crime last year.

While the show continued with a 5-member system without a direct replacement for Jo Se-ho, news broke on the 12th that the youngest member, Yu Sun-ho, would also be leaving.
The production team stated, “Member Yu Sun-ho, who has been with us for a long time—three and a half years—is graduating from ‘2 Days & 1 Night’.” They added, “Yu Sun-ho will personally deliver his final farewell to viewers during the broadcast on the 31st.”
Yu Sun-ho reportedly shared, “‘2 Days & 1 Night’ was my entire 20s. Although the journey has ended, I am so happy and grateful to have gained reliable hyungs who will be with me for the rest of my life. I am also thankful to the viewers who loved me even though I was nobody.”

Actor Lee Ki-taek will join as Yu Sun-ho’s successor, maintaining the show’s 5-member system. Lee debuted in a web drama in 2020 and recently caught attention in the JTBC show ‘Efficient Meeting of Unmarried Men and Women’, which ended last month.
Lee is currently expanding his variety show presence, joining Coupang Play’s ‘Bonjour Bakery’, SBS’ ‘Beopryun Road – Monk and Guest’, and KBS2 ‘2 Days & 1 Night’. Born in 1994, fans are excited to see what kind of energy he will bring as the new youngest member of ‘2 Days & 1 Night’.
