Shin Ji-hyo’s impressive alcohol tolerance was previously revealed on television. During an episode of SBS’s ‘My Little Old Boy’ in April, Shin Dong-yup mentioned, “She has a lot of gatherings at school and seems to drink quite a bit.” He added, “Since she seemed to be a good drinker, I once asked her how much she had, and she had written numbers from 1 to 23.”

Shin Dong-yup further revealed, “She said she wrote them down to keep track of her limit every time she had a glass of soju,” adding that she even took care of her friends and seniors by making sure they all got into taxis to go home safely.

Meanwhile, Shin Ji-hyo made headlines last December when it was announced that she was accepted into both Seoul National University and the Korea National University of Arts. She ultimately chose the Department of Physical Education at Seoul National University’s College of Education and is currently enrolled as part of the class of ’26.
