
2AM member Lee Changmin has reached another musical milestone through the trot audition show ‘Mumyeong Jeonseol’.
During the finals of MBN’s trot audition ‘Mumyeong Jeonseol – Trot Men’s Hierarchy War’ (hereafter ‘Mumyeong Jeonseol’) aired on May 13, Lee Changmin secured 6th place, officially landing a spot in the Top 7.
Right after the broadcast, Lee Changmin shared his gratitude on SNS, saying, “Thank you so much to everyone who cheered for me in ‘Mumyeong Jeonseol’. I finished in 6th place in the Top 7.” He added, “I will continue to grow and become an even better singer.”
Through ‘Mumyeong Jeonseol’, Lee Changmin proved he is a versatile vocalist who can master both ballads and trot with his signature emotional vocals and commanding stage presence. His performance of Nam Jin’s ‘Bin Jige’ in the finals was especially praised by viewers for its deep emotion and appealing tone.
Since debuting with 2AM in 2008, Lee Changmin has been active across various genres, including ballads, OSTs, and musicals. Fans are reacting positively to him expanding his musical spectrum into trot and showcasing new possibilities.
Meanwhile, 2AM is set to meet their fans through a performance in Seoul this coming June.
