82MAJOR (Nam Seong-mo, Park Seok-jun, Yoon Ye-chan, Jo Seong-il, Hwang Seong-bin, Kim Do-kyun) took the stage on MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core’ on the 2nd to perform ‘Sign,’ the title track from their fifth mini album.
The members appeared in black suits that highlighted their shoulders and waistlines, perfectly pulling off a sophisticated office look. They showcased a deeper sense of masculinity and a more mature visual. The stage background, which recreated the office from the music video, made the performance feel like a scene from a noir film.
82MAJOR delivered a performance with impressive pacing to match the dreamy sound. The addictive point choreography, resembling the sending of signals, and the dynamic group dance combined with their solid live vocals to elevate the overall quality of the stage.
Living up to their reputation as “performance-type idols,” 82MAJOR showed off relaxed stage manners. Their individual expressions and commanding gaze toward the camera kept fans glued to the screen.
Released on April 28, the fifth mini album ‘FEELM’ features the members’ participation in producing every track, embedding 82MAJOR’s distinct musical color. The title track ‘Sign’ blends a restrained beat with a dreamy melody, depicting the exchange of emotions through a “signal between you and me.”
Meanwhile, 82MAJOR will continue their ‘Sign’ comeback promotions on SBS’ ‘Inkigayo’ on May 3 at 3:20 PM.
