From a Little Fan to RIIZE Member: Anton Dreams of Writing a Song for IU!

RIIZE’s Anton caught everyone’s attention by recalling his childhood meeting with singer and actress IU, stating, “I want to create a song for IU noona and a song for RIIZE.”

On the 10th, a video titled “Thank you father, thank you son” was posted on the YouTube channel ‘Yojung Jaehyung’.

In the video, Anton was asked when he first realized his father is Yoon Sang. Yoon Sang replied, “I was in the US, so how would he know I’m a singer?” He recalled, “He came to Korea in 2011 and saw the ‘Yoon Sang, Kim Kwangmin, and Lee Byung-woo Joint Concert.’ That must have been the first time he saw my stage.” To this, Anton remembered, “Was it when I met IU noona?” leaving Yoon Sang with a jokingly disappointed face, saying, “IU comes before me,” which sparked laughter.

Yoon Sang added, “He was a huge fan of IU back then. IU was the first junior artist I ever got an autograph from.” He explained, “Since I had given her songs before and we were acquainted, I was able to ask.”

A shy Anton wondered, “Did I say that? I was so young, I don’t think I even knew what wanting an autograph meant.” Yoon Sang replied, “You liked her so much that I probably just got it for you.”

In the past, Yoon Sang was against Anton’s debut. However, after hearing songs Anton composed during his school years, he recognized his son’s musical talent, which closely resembles his own, thinking, “I can’t stop him.”

When asked if he wanted to write songs for others, Anton said, “I’ve talked a lot about working on music since my debut, but I don’t think there have been many opportunities to show it.”

Jung Jaehyung then asked, “Who do you want to give a song to?” Anton replied, “Honestly, I want to make a song for RIIZE someday.” When Jung Jaehyung asked, “A song for IU noona too?” Anton answered, “A song for IU noona as well,” and sent a finger heart toward the camera, bringing laughter to the set.

However, Anton added, “There is still so much I don’t know about music, so I need time. Right now, the most important thing is my activities as a member of RIIZE. I don’t think I need to rush.”
