The May 10th episode of KBS 2TV’s ‘Gag Concert’ brought plenty of laughs to viewers with its variety of comedy sketches.
The scene shifted as the classroom calendar flipped back to 1983, transforming the entire setting into a 1980s classroom. When Kim Ki-yeol asked the students if they brought their lunchboxes, Yoo Yeon-jo replied, “Can’t we just order delivery?” To which Kim Ki-yeol hilariously responded, “Sure, here’s a delivery of a club!” while scolding the students, perfectly capturing the vibe of schools back then.
Kim Young-hee, who played an overbearing parent in 2026, showed a completely different side in the past. Pointing at Hwang Eun-bi, who wanted to skip the sports day relay, she said, “How can you force a child to run? They should run of their own will.” However, she immediately snatched the teacher’s stick and chased after Hwang Eun-bi as if she were about to strike. Later, Kim Ki-yeol and Kim Young-hee apologized to one another, even incorporating corporal punishment into the act, before showing the students participating in the sports day.
‘Era of Romance’ satirized the complaints regarding school sports days that have recently become a hot topic online, using comedy to highlight the stark differences between the past and present.
Other sketches including ‘Mirror Man and Woman’, ‘Blind Cafe’, ‘Under Cover’, ‘Public Trial’, ‘Gwang and Gon’, and ‘Simgok Police Station’ also kept the audience laughing.
