Jeon Yu-jin Takes Top Spot in Trotpick Weekly Female Category!

Trotpick, the trot star voting web service, revealed the results of its weekly vote held from May 4 to 11. Jeon Yu-jin claimed 1st place in the female singer category with an impressive 258,840 points!

Born in 2006 and hailing from the Pohang Beach National Song Festival, Jeon Yu-jin made her debut in March 2020 with the digital single “Do you want to love?”. She first gained attention as a trot prodigy after finishing as the runner-up in the “Trot is Good” special of KBS 2TV’s “I Like Songs.”

Jeon Yu-jin triumphantly won MBN’s “Active King” in 2024 and participated in the “2024 Active King National Tour Concert.” She also released the mini-album “Only You” to celebrate her win and served as a judge on the sequel, “Active King 2.” In May last year, she released her first-ever OST, “You are like me,” for the KBS 2TV weekend drama “Please Take Care of the Eagle 5 Brothers!”. That July, she teamed up with Son Tae-jin for the duet single “Now I Will Protect You.”

Jeon Yu-jin started a new chapter in October last year by signing an exclusive contract with the new agency J Label. Since then, she has released the song “Child’s Sleep” and successfully completed fan concerts in Seoul, Daegu, and Busan. She is set to return to fans with a new song, “Gayo Gayo,” releasing on the 26th!
