Top model Shin Hyun-ji, who recently tied the knot in secret, is setting the record straight about the misconceptions surrounding her.
Shin Hyun-ji appeared on Jang Yoon-ju’s personal YouTube channel on the 9th, where she revealed an unexpected “homebody” side to her personality, contrary to her image of someone who loves to party.
Reflecting on the past, Jang Yoon-ju shared, “There are always after-parties after shows, but I wasn’t really able to enjoy them.”
Shin Hyun-ji agreed, saying, “I’m not like that either. People think I’m always active and going to clubs, but I’ve actually been to a club fewer than 10 times in my entire life.”
Regarding her SNS posts that show her enjoying parties, she explained, “I only post those because they happen so rarely that it feels novel. Usually, I stay home in peace and meditate while playing singing bowl videos on YouTube.”
She further emphasized her homebody nature, adding, “These days, I don’t go out for appointments often and make sure to eat healthy, home-cooked dinners.”
Surprised by this revelation, Jang Yoon-ju admitted, “I had a huge misunderstanding about you too.”
Previously, on the 26th of last month, Shin Hyun-ji held a secret wedding ceremony in Seoul. The small-scale event was attended only by close family and friends to celebrate the couple’s new beginning.
Born in 1996, Shin Hyun-ji is a representative Korean top model active worldwide and a former winner of ‘Korea’s Next Top Model 4’ in 2013. She gained significant attention as the first Asian model to serve as the closing model for a Chanel collection.
Shin Hyun-ji will appear as a label leader in the new tvN fashion survival show ‘Kill It: Style Creator Great War’, which premieres on the 12th.
