Son Yeo-eun on Her Sibling Chemistry with Yoo Yeon-seok in ‘Shin-irang Law Firm’: “I Wish I Had a Brother Like This!”

Actress Son Yeo-eun confessed that she felt a great sense of reassurance from Yoo Yeon-seok, her co-star in ‘Shin-irang Law Firm’.

Having appeared in the SBS Friday-Saturday drama ‘Shin-irang Law Firm’ which concluded on the 2nd, Son Yeo-eun recently shared her thoughts on wrapping up the project through a written interview with OSEN.

‘Shin-irang Law Firm’ is a strange yet heartwarming adventure featuring Shin Irang (played by Yoo Yeon-seok), a “possessed lawyer” who satisfyingly resolves the grudges of the deceased, and Han Na-hyun (played by Lee Som), a “cold-blooded elite lawyer” who bets everything on winning. Son Yeo-eun took on the role of Shin Sa-rang, the older sister of Shin Irang.

Reflecting on the end of the series, Son Yeo-eun shared, “I’m happy that many people seem to have found comfort and warmth through this drama, just as I did when I first read the script.”

When asked why she decided to play Shin Sa-rang, she said, “From the moment I first received the script, I felt it was a truly kind and warm drama. I thought that if it was a work that could convey a positive influence to others, I should happily participate.”

As for her sibling chemistry with Yoo Yeon-seok, Son Yeo-eun revealed, “I don’t actually have a younger brother, but after working together as siblings in the drama, I thought, ‘It would be so reassuring and happy to have a younger brother like this in real life.'” She added, “Thanks to actor Yoo Yeon-seok, who was Shin Irang himself, I think I was able to act comfortably every time we filmed.”

In reality, Son Yeo-eun is a younger sister with an older sister. When asked about her relationship with her sibling, she confessed, “Since I grew up as the youngest, being cared for by my sister and family, I didn’t grow up knowing how an older sister feels toward a younger sibling. However, while working on this project, I thought of my sister who always looked after me and gave me love, which actually helped me a lot.”
