Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Young recently mentioned the unit Hyori-soo.
On the May 11 broadcast of SBS Power FM ‘Wendy’s Young Street’, Tiffany Young appeared to celebrate the 10th anniversary of her solo debut with her new single ‘Summer’s Not Over’. She shared everything from the stories behind her new song to her future plans and current interests.
Regarding ‘Summer’s Not Over’, Tiffany Young explained, “I was born in the summer, and Girls’ Generation also debuted in the summer. The season of summer is very special to me, which is why I released this song.” When a listener asked for a spoiler about her upcoming full-length album, she teased, “I’m still recording, but I’m organizing the tracklist like a story,” raising expectations.
A real-time message asked if Tiffany Young and DJ Wendy remembered their ‘Dear Mom’ stage. Tiffany recalled, “That was already 11 years ago. I remember singing it during Girls’ Generation’s ‘PARTY’ promotions.” The two performed ‘Dear Mom’ on the spot, showing their unchanging chemistry and receiving a hot response from listeners.
Questions about the currently trending ‘Hyori-soo’ followed. Tiffany Young replied, “I would do it if Hyori-soo offered me a producer role,” and added, “I’ll even make Taetiseo come back just to go head-to-head with Hyori-soo,” sparking laughter. She also expressed her honest wish, saying, “I want to try a dance unit with Hyori-soo. I want ‘Hyori-soot’ by adding the ‘t’ from Tiffany to Hyori-soo.”
When asked about her new hobby, she caught everyone’s attention by answering, “I’ve started enjoying watching combat sports videos.” Tiffany explained, “I find it inspiring because the way athletes use their own skills to decide a match in a short amount of time feels similar to performing on stage.”
