Model and actor Kang Seung-hyun has shared a heartbreaking yet touching message on social media to express his grief and gratitude after the passing of his father.
On the 11th, Kang Seung-hyun posted, “Thanks to the comfort of many people, I was able to send my father off well.” He added, “I couldn’t reply to everyone individually, but I received a lot of comfort while reading each and every one of your heartfelt messages.”
He continued, “Please pray with me that my father, who suffered from a chronic illness for a long time, is now at peace.”
He also left a final, emotional message for his father: “Dad, please don’t lose your way and make sure you arrive at a wonderful place. There, please eat all the delicious food you couldn’t have, hike as much as you want on your own two feet, wear all the cool clothes you like, and stay well until we meet again. I love you.”
According to his agency, Kang Entertainment, Kang Seung-hyun’s father passed away on the 6th due to a chronic illness.
Kang Seung-hyun debuted as a model in 2008 and gained fame on the global stage. He later expanded his career into acting, appearing in movies like ‘Believer’, ‘Champion’, and ‘Gibang Doryeong’, as well as dramas such as ‘Partners for Justice Season 2’ and ‘Last Summer’.
