BOYNEXTDOOR Aims for 5 Music Show Wins with First Full Album! Leehan’s Hilarious Pledge: Teary Selfies

BOYNEXTDOOR member Leehan revealed that he will post teary selfies if they achieve five wins on music shows with their first full-length album, ‘HOME’.

On the May 12 afternoon broadcast of SBS Power FM’s ‘Cultwo Show’, BOYNEXTDOOR appeared as guests for the ‘Special Live’ segment.

During the show, Sungho was asked which member best fits the concept of the pre-release track ‘Knock Knock’. He replied, “Personally, I think all of us in BOYNEXTDOOR fit it perfectly.” Taesan shared his honest opinion, saying, “I think it’s Sungho hyung,” to which Sungho confidently added, “I’ll proudly say it’s me!”

Woonhak shared his determination, saying, “I practiced singing live while dancing yesterday and almost fainted from exhaustion. Since it’s our first full album, I’ll put in all my grit and passion.” Sungho emphasized, “We are very confident in this performance,” and Myung Jaehyun added his support, saying, “This is the one.” Sungho concluded, “We’re cool.”

A clip of BOYNEXTDOOR’s previous first-place win was shown on ‘Cultwo Show’. Woonhak explained, “I’m watching it to get some good energy.” Taesan confessed, “I practice my acceptance speech before going up. I worry that I might stutter too much if I’m gratefully awarded first place.”

When asked if he might miss part of his speech, Taesan replied, “I’ll do a separate live broadcast or make a post for ONEDOOR.” Sungho recalled, “When we first debuted and received awards at ceremonies or music shows, we didn’t know much, so there were times we missed mentioning people we should have thanked.”

The BOYNEXTDOOR members took turns practicing their first-place acceptance speeches. In particular, Leehan teased a special pledge, promising to post teary selfies if they achieve five wins with this album.

Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR will release their first full-length album ‘HOME’ on June 8. ‘HOME’ is an album that unfolds the emotions and memories they’ve experienced while reflecting on their time as the “boys next door.” They released the pre-release track ‘Knock Knock’ on the 11th, featuring Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak.
