‘Going to Work Tomorrow!’ has officially kicked off its office romance journey by revealing scenes from the first script reading!

Premiering Monday, June 22 at 8:50 PM, tvN’s ‘Going to Work Tomorrow!’ follows ‘Becoming a Legend of the Cooking Soldier’. The drama is a relatable office romance about Cha Ji-yoon, a 7-year employee exhausted by the daily grind, and her prickly boss Kang Si-woo, who eventually become irreplaceable to one another. Based on the McQueen Studio webtoon of the same name with 200 million cumulative views, it aims to capture both the struggles and the heart-fluttering moments of workplace life.
The recent script reading was attended by the main cast, including Seo In-guk, Park Ji-hyun, Kang Mi-na, Choi Kyung-hoon, and Won Gyu-bin, along with the production team. The actors immediately immersed themselves in their characters, vividly portraying the relationships and emotional flows with playful banter and delicate chemistry.
Seo In-guk plays the role of Kang Si-woo, a cold and principled boss. Known as the “3NO man” because he doesn’t smile, keeps people at a distance, and never apologizes, he has a prickly and chilly personality. Seo In-guk brought depth to the character by detailing the human side hidden beneath his cold exterior.
Park Ji-hyun stars as Cha Ji-yoon, a 7-year employee worn out by reality. With her natural acting and delicate emotional expression, she convincingly portrays the reality of a burned-out worker, serving as the central pillar of the story.
Word has it that despite this being their first time working together, Seo In-guk and Park Ji-hyun built a natural chemistry, effectively depicting the distance and emotional shifts between their characters. The subtle emotional changes blooming between a cold boss and an exhausted employee are already raising expectations for the romance.
Kang Mi-na adds energy to the show as Yoon No-ah, a bright and spirited 5-year employee. Choi Kyung-hoon plays Jo Ga-eul, Cha Ji-yoon’s first love and a band vocalist, showcasing a free-spirited charm, while Won Gyu-bin appears as Lee Jae-in, a younger man who actively pursues Yoon No-ah. The intertwining relationships between these diverse characters are expected to be a major highlight.
The production team stated, “We could see a synergy beyond our expectations through the perfect chemistry of the actors and the solid script. We plan to show a realistic story and a heart-fluttering romance that any office worker can relate to.”
