Cortis Makes History! 'RedRed' Hits #17 on Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100

Group Cortis has officially made their mark on the US Billboard chart’s ‘Bubbling Under Hot 100’!

According to the latest Billboard chart (dated May 16) released on the 12th, ‘RedRed,’ the title track from Cortis’ second mini album, entered the ‘Bubbling Under Hot 100’ at #17. This achievement comes just about nine months after their debut in August last year. They are the first K-pop boy group to debut within the last five years to enter this chart.

The ‘Bubbling Under Hot 100’ tracks the top 25 songs that just missed the main ‘Hot 100’ chart, using the same data from streaming, radio airplay, and sales. Fans are amazed that they’ve reached the doorstep of the ‘Hot 100’ in less than a year since debut. Additionally, ‘REDRED’ climbed 20 spots to #43 on the ‘Global 200’ and 7 spots to #24 on the ‘Global (Excl. US)’ chart. Their mini album ‘GreenGreen’ also made its first appearance at #8 on the ‘World Albums’ chart.

Their previous work is still going strong! Their first mini album ‘Color Outside the Lines’ stayed at #6 on the ‘World Albums’ chart for 35 weeks. The track ‘Go!’ from that album has remained on the ‘Pop Airplay’ chart for 11 consecutive weeks and currently sits at #31.

Their momentum is also evident on Spotify. As of the 11th, Cortis’ cumulative streams have surpassed 600 million. This total includes 13 tracks from their debut album, ‘Mention Me’ (an insert song for the Sony Pictures Animation movie ‘GOAT’), and their second mini album released on the 4th. They reached this milestone just 20 days after hitting 500 million on April 21. As of May 10, Cortis’ monthly listeners reached approximately 10.52 million, with the highest proportions of listeners coming from the US and Indonesia.

‘RedRed’ continues to break records. On the May 11 Spotify ‘Daily Top Songs Global’ chart, it ranked #71, staying on the chart for 20 consecutive days. They are the first K-pop boy group debuting within the last five years to enter this chart and maintain such long-term success. On domestic music sites, ‘RedRed’ swept the top spots on May 11, ranking #3 on Melon and #1 on Bugs.
