Singer Yoon Jong Shin has been tapped as a new MC for the revival of KBS’s iconic variety show ‘Happy Together’, which returns after six years!
According to a report from Star News on the 13th, Yoon Jong Shin will join the new KBS2 variety show ‘Happy Together – Glad I’m Not Alone’ (hereafter ‘Happy Together’), where he’ll showcase amazing chemistry with Yoo Jae Suk and Director Jang Hang Joon. This casting is drawing huge attention from the industry as it marks the first time Yoon Jong Shin and Yoo Jae Suk have reunited as fixed members in about 16 years since SBS’s ‘Family Outing’ ended in 2010.
While the two have crossed paths many times as MC and guest, it’s been a very long time since they’ve worked together as regular cast members. Yoo Jae Suk has previously expressed his special affection for Yoon Jong Shin on various shows, even saying, “I practically raised him in the variety world,” so fans are already excited for the synergy these two veterans will create. Adding to the mix is Director Jang Hang Joon, a close friend of Yoon Jong Shin for 30 years, completing a lineup of true best friends.
