Entertainer Kim Sung-eun showed off her “passionate mom” side, revealing that she pours all her time into raising her children.
On the May 13th episode of MBC’s ‘Radio Star’, Kim Sung-eun appeared to share her daily life as a mother of three.
Returning to ‘Radio Star’ after seven years, Kim Sung-eun joked, “Seven years ago, I was pregnant with my third child, but now that my third is seven years old, I’ve come back with a lighter body. I originally planned to return once I was pregnant with a fourth.”
Married to Jeju FC coach Jung Jo-guk in 2009 and mother to two sons and one daughter, Kim Sung-eun confessed, “I’m incredibly busy balancing work and raising three kids. I have to check three sets of school notices and attend three parent-teacher conferences. Everything is tripled. That’s why I came up with the idea of inviting my husband to a group chat. I can’t be the only one struggling. Let’s share the workload. Please help. Husbands often don’t think to do things unless their wives tell them to.”
She continued, “One thing that changed while raising three kids is my taste in music. I didn’t really like music before, so I always kept it silent in the car, but these days, music is healing for me. Even after arriving home, I don’t go inside right away; I stay in the car to listen to music. I usually enjoy some alone time with sweet songs before finally heading inside.”
Kim Sung-eun also shared her intense driving schedule. She explained, “My heart is a bit lighter since my first child is in a dormitory, but my second is in school and my third is in kindergarten. First, when my second child finishes school, I drop them off at math and English academies. My third is learning soccer, so after kindergarten, I have to take them to soccer class. Later, I pick up the second child from the English academy and the third from soccer class.”
She added, “On top of that, if my first child comes out for a visit, I have to pick them up too. That’s how my entire afternoon is completely dedicated to the kids,” leaving everyone amazed.
