BIGBANG’s Taeyang revealed on ‘Salon Drip’ that he faced off against actor Ahn Jae-wook in a running race during a kindergarten sports day.
Taeyang, who returned with his fourth full-length album ‘QUINTESSENCE’, appeared as a guest on the web variety show ‘Salon Drip’ via the YouTube channel ‘TEO’ on the 12th.
In the video, Taeyang caught everyone’s attention by revealing the full story of the “Dad’s Race” against actor Ahn Jae-wook. Previously, Ahn Jae-wook had appeared on a variety show and mentioned that he and Taeyang are fellow parents at the same kindergarten, noting that Taeyang took 1st place while he finished 2nd or 3rd.
Taeyang recalled, “In my memory, I don’t think (Ahn Jae-wook) was 2nd,” describing the race which was filled with obstacles. He shared a funny moment, saying, “Since senior (Ahn Jae-wook) was on the same line, I greeted him, and I just felt like I was definitely going to take 1st place,” adding that he even paced himself so the gap wouldn’t be too wide.
Claiming he only used 70% of his capability, Taeyang added, “I remember (Ahn Jae-wook) struggling after falling and coming in almost last,” drawing a lot of interest.
