Fantagio, the agency representing Cha Eun-woo and other stars, is moving forward with a third-party allocation paid-in capital increase to strengthen its business foundation.
On the 12th, Fantagio announced that it is pursuing a capital increase of 5 billion won to ensure stable business operations and protect shareholder value. As the capital market evolves and listing requirements become more stringent, the company has decided to invest for mid-to-long-term growth.
The total amount is 5 billion won, and the target is reportedly a corporation called ‘X’, which is 58% owned by Onnuri Production.
The funds secured through this process are expected to be used to expand Fantagio’s competitiveness in content and entertainment. Regarding this, Chairman Namgung Kyun stated, “This capital increase is a strategic decision for the company’s sustainable growth and the enhancement of shareholder value, going beyond simple fundraising,” pledging to do his best to restore and grow the company’s corporate value.
Fantagio currently represents a diverse lineup of artists, including Baek Yoon-sik, Kim Seon-ho, Cha Eun-woo, Byeon Woo-min, Kang Ye-won, Lee Se-young, Lee Sung-kyung, Ong Seong-wu, and Kim Do-yeon.
