Singer Kang Min-kyung recently shared a sweet date with Go Hyun-jung.
On May 12, Kang Min-kyung took to her personal social media to share glimpses of her day with Go Hyun-jung. She posted a photo of a watch with the caption, “Unnie, my heart is fluttering, a clock has been placed in my studio,” revealing it was a gift from Go Hyun-jung. She also shared a photo of Go Hyun-jung from behind and another of her sitting by the roadside, adding “Date over” to show they spent the whole day together until late.
This follows a YouTube video titled ‘Taming Go Hyun-jung’ uploaded by Kang Min-kyung on the 7th. In the video, Go Hyun-jung opened up about the heartbreaking reason behind her “bone-skinny” physique, denying rumors that she had lost weight through dieting.
Go Hyun-jung revealed, “In 2020, I underwent a major emergency surgery. It involved the area connecting the duodenum and the pancreas, and it was a complex situation involving the stomach as well.” She further explained the urgency, saying, “I was managing well with medication, but I collapsed again in 2024 due to extreme stress. After several struggles, including being refused entry at the emergency room, I finally had surgery and survived.”
Addressing the diet rumors, she firmly denied them, stating, “I didn’t even diet when I was young, so how could I possibly do it now when my health is so precarious?”
