V.O.S’s Choi Hyun-jun Announces Move to Canada: “A Decision Made After Much Thought”

V.O.S's Choi Hyun-jun Announces Move to Canada:

On the 13th, Choi Hyun-jun took to his Instagram to share some big news, stating, “After a great deal of deliberation, I’ve decided to immigrate to Canada. It all starts now.” He added that he will work hard through his schedules until June 16 and will depart on June 17.

He expressed his hopes for the future, saying, “I hope that this new challenge in Vancouver will be filled with happy miracles and that my family, whose final destination is always unknown, will become even happier.”

He further explained his reasoning, noting, “Some of you may have already noticed, but I made this decision very carefully. I feel sorry and regretful for those who might find this sudden, but I have actually been thinking about this for a long time. I want to create a healthier and happier future, as the direction of my life now flows toward my children and family.”

However, he reassured fans that he won’t be gone completely, saying, “I will still continue to perform in Korea every October, November, and December. I’ll do my best to adapt to a new routine as a singer during the fourth quarter. I ask for your understanding if you feel disappointed. It might be greedy of me, but please cheer on my new life.”

Choi Hyun-jun officially debuted in the music industry in 2004 as a member of V.O.S, releasing hit songs such as “Say it Looking in My Eyes” and “On Days I Miss You.” In 2014, he married model Shin So-yi, who is four years his junior, three months after the birth of their son. They currently have one son and one daughter.
