Korean history lecturer Choi Tae-sung is set to share some surprising episodes from his time as a CSAT exam review committee member on ‘Radio Star’.
The MBC variety show ‘Radio Star’, airing on the night of the 13th, will feature a special ‘Passionate Teachers for Teacher’s Day’ episode with guests Seo Kyung-seok, Choi Tae-sung, Kim Sung-eun, and Hwang Min-ho.
Choi Tae-sung will look back on his days as a teacher serving on the CSAT review committee, describing a top-secret isolation system where he lived cut off from the world for over a month. He will reveal the intense security measures, including a total ban on phone use and external contact, which meant he couldn’t even notify his family of his whereabouts.
He also opens up about a heartwarming reunion with a student he particularly remembered from his teaching days. Sharing the story of their meeting after the student became an adult, he adds a touching layer to the conversation with his educational philosophy: “A teacher must be able to wait.”
Furthermore, he reportedly wowed the cast by discussing the trending movie ‘The Man Living with the King’ and explaining the historical connection between King Munjong and King Danjong. ‘Radio Star’ airs every Wednesday night at 10:30 PM.
