Creator Moon Sang-hoon is finally revealing the new BDNS office!
On the May 16 episode of MBC’s ‘Omniscient Interfering View’, the frontman of the YouTube channel BDNS—which boasts 2.4 million subscribers and a staggering 1.7 billion cumulative views—Moon Sang-hoon will make his appearance. This marks his first time ever appearing on an observation variety show, sparking huge anticipation.
During the episode, Moon Sang-hoon will give the first-ever look at the 4-story rented office where various BDNS contents are born. This is the creative hub for his hyper-realistic “alter ego” characters, including ‘Star Teacher Moon-ssaem’, ‘Reporter Moon’, ‘Private Moon’, and pro-gamer ‘Dumbo’, as well as hit series like ‘Waiting for You Who Doesn’t Come (Odanggi)’ and ‘Hae-in’s Observer Point of View’. From a video store in Huam-dong to a 2-story house, and now to this 4-story building, fans can look forward to seeing the growth story of ‘Romantic Boy’ Moon Sang-hoon.
The BDNS office is uniquely divided: the 1st floor houses the ‘Star Teacher Moon-ssaem’ studio, the 2nd floor feels like a hangout from a US sitcom, the 3rd floor is the staff workspace, and the 4th floor is an emotional space used for filming ‘Odanggi’. The workspace is full of Moon Sang-hoon’s romantic touches, including an old van bought for traveling across the country with staff and an in-house PC cafe for gaming during lunch breaks.
Fans will also get to see Moon Sang-hoon’s professional side. During content meetings with his PD, he shows his meticulous nature as a creator, pouring out ideas and suggesting detailed plans.
The filming process for the popular ‘Star Teacher Moon-ssaem’ will also be revealed. Word has it that he completely took over the set with his signature sly acting and spontaneous ad-libs, leaving the staff struggling to hold back their laughter. The behind-the-scenes story of creating this trend-setting content is definitely something to watch for.
