Park Ji-yoon Reveals Her “Shortcut” Egg Fasting Diet to Bounce Back After Binge Eating!

Park Ji-yoon Reveals Her

Broadcaster and former announcer Park Ji-yoon has revealed her secret to staying fit!

On May 13, Park Ji-yoon posted on her social media, “What even is a diet? We do it to be pretty and happy, but it’s so painful, right? A follower asked a question after seeing the photos in my story, so I’m leaving my reply here in case it helps others too.”

She shared her management tips, saying, “If you were wondering why I don’t seem to gain weight, please just take this as a reference that there is a small amount of effort hidden behind the binge eating.”

Park Ji-yoon explained, “I tried eating according to my biorhythm for a week, and while I didn’t lose weight, I was happy that I could maintain it. But since my birthday, my weight has been plateauing, so I tried egg fasting, then slowly went back to regular meals. Since yesterday, I’ve decided to do egg fasting for just three days again. To be precise, I’m doing it with a ‘shortcut’ by allowing myself some light snacks.” She bragged about the results, adding, “Still, I feel light!”

Egg fasting is a short-term, intensive diet that focuses on consuming fats through eggs while extremely limiting carbohydrates. While it allows for rapid weight loss, it can lead to side effects such as nutritional imbalance and the yo-yo effect.

Park Ji-yoon emphasized, “Everyone, please don’t forget this: it’s my body and I control it. Whether I eat or not, gain or lose, it’s mine and it’s my happiness! Got it?”

Meanwhile, Park Ji-yoon married her fellow KBS 30th recruit announcer Choi Dong-seok in 2009 and has one son and one daughter, but the couple divorced in 2023. While Park Ji-yoon holds parental and custodial rights, Choi Dong-seok meets the children through visitation rights.

On December 5 last year, Park Ji-yoon revealed her weight of 55.7kg on her social media, praising herself by saying, “I’ve lost almost 7 to 8kg compared to July.” On February 28, she also shared a diet update, stating, “My weight went up a bit before the Lunar New Year, but it’s come back down to hit my lowest weight.”
