VIXX member Ravi is gearing up for a comeback after pausing his activities due to a controversy involving military service law violations.
On the 13th, Ravi shared photos on his social media account taken at a clothing brand’s collection preview.

Ravi caught everyone’s eye with a sophisticated and calm look, sporting clean horn-rimmed glasses and a sleek all-black outfit. Fans were excited, commenting, “I want to see you more often,” “You’re still so cool after all this time,” and “I missed you so much.” However, some netizens expressed concerns, asking, “Isn’t it too early to return?” and “Is an apology enough for breaking the law?”

To recap, Ravi was brought to trial for attempting to evade military service by conspiring with a broker to obtain a fake epilepsy diagnosis while serving as a social service agent starting in October 2022. The investigation revealed a shocking message from the broker saying, “Good, military exemption.” It was confirmed that Ravi acted as if he had fainted following an “epilepsy scenario” provided by the broker to undergo hospital tests. The first trial court sentenced him to one year in prison, suspended for two years. The prosecution appealed, but the second trial court upheld the original ruling. With no further appeals, the sentence became final. Ravi completed his remaining service and was officially discharged on December 13 last year.

Following his discharge, Ravi posted a lengthy apology on his personal account. He stated, “Going through this process, I felt incredibly ashamed of myself for seeking understanding by using my personal situation and environment as an excuse when I should have been reflecting on and pushing myself.” He added, “I realized that a cowardly choice can cause pain and damage to others.”
