
Actress Jun Ji-hyun is set to meet the legendary Yoo Jae-suk on ‘Pinggyego’.
The stars of director Yeon Sang-ho’s new film ‘Gunche’, which has been officially invited to the Midnight Screening section of the 79th Cannes Film Festival, will appear on the YouTube channel ‘DdeunDdeun’s ‘Pinggyego’ on Saturday, May 16, at 9 AM.
The lead actors of the highly anticipated film ‘Gunche’—Jun Ji-hyun, Koo Kyo-hwan, and Ji Chang-wook—are heading to ‘Pinggyego’ this Saturday. Jun Ji-hyun makes her return to the big screen after 11 years, Koo Kyo-hwan is expected to showcase a new side of his acting, and Ji Chang-wook has perfectly delivered everything from intense action to delicate emotional scenes. The three will meet MC Yoo Jae-suk and fellow guest Nam Chang-hee to share fun behind-the-scenes stories and various tales about the project.
After seeing the teaser, viewers are already buzzing with excitement, commenting, “Wow, this lineup is insane,” “Finally seeing the Yoo Jae-suk x Jun Ji-hyun combination,” and “Gunche is finally coming.” Fans are eagerly awaiting the full episode, expecting great chemistry, witty banter, and a fun dynamic with Yoo Jae-suk.

At the end of the clip, Jun Ji-hyun told Yoo Jae-suk, “I remember you,” and Yoo Jae-suk responded happily, “You remember?” as they held hands, leaving viewers curious about their history.
Meanwhile, ‘Gunche’ (Directed by Yeon Sang-ho, Distributed by Showbox, Produced by WOWPOINT, Smilegate, and Midnight Studio), opening on the 21st, tells the story of isolated survivors in a building locked down due to a mysterious infection, fighting against infected individuals who evolve in unpredictable ways.
