Comedian Kim Shin-young is returning to ‘I Live Alone’ to give us a peek into her ‘homebody life’ after work. The upcoming episode, airing May 15 at 11:10 PM, will follow her daily routine after finishing her radio show.
Having previously shared her 14-year journey of living alone on ‘Rainbow Live,’ Kim Shin-young captured fans’ hearts with her frugal, organized lifestyle and her love for me-time. Her influence was so strong that certain ingredients even sold out after her appearance! Thanks to the overwhelming response, she is back to share an even deeper look into her life.
For 15 years, Kim Shin-young has been the host of MBC FM4U’s ‘noon’s Hope Song.’ While driving home after a live broadcast, she opens up about the lessons she has learned throughout her long career and the honest reason why she started commuting in her own car.
The moment she hits the door, it is “My house! My world!” as she switches into full relaxation mode. After getting comfortable, she heads to the bathroom for a surprising self-haircut. Watching her tie her hair in two and trim the back using only her sense of touch is truly shocking. She reveals she has been cutting her own hair for a whopping 10 years!
Her strict summer self-care routine is also a highlight. From her back and feet to the crown of her head, Kim Shin-young’s detailed grooming methods and her must-have ‘stockpile items’ will be revealed.
Even while battling a cold, Kim Shin-young does not let the cleaning stop. Saying, “I have to do what needs to be done even if I am sick,” she showcases her expert housekeeping skills by meticulously scrubbing everything from the sink and toilet to the shower booth, tub, and floor.
Kim Shin-young’s real day begins only after work. Catch her peaceful solo life on MBC’s ‘I Live Alone’ this May 15 at 11:10 PM.
