On the 14th, the Google review page for the glasses shop operated by Kyung-soo in Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, has been flooded with the lowest possible rating of 1 star, with dozens of such reviews appearing.
Netizens leaving 1-star ratings wrote comments such as “Stop playing with people’s hearts,” “Stop testing the waters,” and “Be happy with Young-sook.”
The reason for the rating bomb is presumed to be the May 13th episode of the SBS Plus and ENA variety show ‘I Am Solo.’ Kyung-soo had initially been growing closer to Soon-ja, but as Young-sook actively expressed her feelings, he found himself weighing his options between the two. When both Kyung-soo and Soon-ja won super date tickets (the right to choose a date partner), Kyung-soo asked Soon-ja, “Could you use your super date ticket on me? It’s selfish, but I want to use mine on Young-sook.”
Soon-ja, who was already under extreme tension from filming and had heard gossip from other female contestants, was suffering from stomach cramps. After hearing Kyung-soo’s request regarding the super date ticket, her condition worsened, and she was rushed to the hospital by ambulance.
Faced with this sudden situation, Kyung-soo fell into guilt, saying, “I wondered if this was right, seeing someone who considers me their first choice suffer because of me.”
