
Huntriss is set to seal the spirit gates at venues all around the world!
On the 14th (KST), Netflix announced via ‘Tudum’ that they will be hosting a global concert tour for the Netflix animated film ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’.
This world tour is a spin-off from ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’. Netflix described it as a “live performance that vividly brings the elements of the movie to life.”
Netflix is collaborating with the US entertainment company ‘AEG Presents’ for this tour. Specific details regarding the performances are expected to be revealed in the second half of this year.
Amy Reinhard, head of advertising, stated, “Fans of ‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ will be able to experience the characters and music they love up close.”
‘K-Pop Demon Hunters’ is a work based on K-pop idols. It tells the story of Huntriss, a girl group and demon hunters, facing off against the evil spirit boy group, Saja Boys.
The series has gained syndrome-level popularity worldwide. It became the first Netflix content to surpass 300 million cumulative views, exceeding the record set by the ‘Squid Game Season 1’ craze.
It swept various award ceremonies, winning two awards at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards and two trophies at the 98th Academy Awards, including Best Original Song.
In particular, the original soundtrack (OST) hit the global music industry hard. ‘Golden’ has maintained a top position on the US Billboard ‘Hot 100’ for 46 consecutive weeks.
The songs for Huntriss were performed by Lee Jae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami. The Saja Boys’ tracks were handled by Andrew Choi, Kevin, Danny Chung, Nexwave, and Samuel Lee.
