Model and broadcaster Han Hye Jin revealed why she didn’t watch the movie ‘The Man Who Lives with the King’.
On the 14th, a video titled ‘I’ve Prepared Meal Buddies, Dishwashing Buddies!’ was released on Han Hye Jin’s YouTube channel. The video showed Han Hye Jin sharing various stories with Pungja and Eom Ji Yoon, who visited her home.
That day, while eating delivery food with the two, Han Hye Jin brought up recent movies she had watched. Eom Ji Yoon stated that she recently enjoyed the movie ‘Salmokji,’ to which Han Hye Jin replied, “I haven’t watched the movie ‘The Man Who Lives with the King’ either.”
In response, Eom Ji Yoon playfully said, “As a descendant of Eom Heung Do, I’m a bit upset that you haven’t watched ‘The Man Who Lives with the King.’ I cried from the very beginning,” which drew laughter.
Han Hye Jin then quipped, “As a descendant of Han Myeong Hoe, I just couldn’t bring myself to watch it.” It is known that Eom Ji Yoon is from the Yeongwol Eom clan and Han Hye Jin is from the Cheongju Han clan, inheriting the family names of Eom Heung Do and Han Myeong Hoe, respectively.
Eom Ji Yoon joked, “We’ll have to fight about this today,” and Pungja chimed in, “It’s because unnie hasn’t watched the movie.” Despite this, Han Hye Jin added, “It’s history, so even if I don’t watch it, I know the story, don’t I? I’ll watch it when it comes out on VOD.”
Meanwhile, director Jang Hang Joon’s movie ‘The Man Who Lives with the King’ surpassed 16.84 million viewers, ranking second in all-time movie attendance.
