Park Hyo-shin and Hong Kwang-ho Steal the Spotlight in New 'Beethoven' Making Film!

On the 14th, production company EMK Musical Company unveiled a making video for the musical ‘Beethoven,’ which opens on June 9. The footage gives fans a sneak peek at the show’s unique atmosphere and character interpretations, featuring profile shoots and trailer production scenes.

In the video, Park Hyo-shin and Hong Kwang-ho, who both take on the role of ‘Ludwig van Beethoven,’ immediately grab everyone’s attention. The two actors showcase different interpretations of Beethoven through conducting and piano performance concepts, delivering a powerful presence.

Meanwhile, Yoon Gong-ju, Kim Ji-hyun, and Kim Ji-woo, playing ‘Antonio Brentano,’ express the character’s complex inner world with distinct emotional tones. Their expressions under the lyrical lighting leave fans curious about the relationships and narrative within the play.

The vibes of other key characters were also revealed. Shin Sung-min and Kim Do-hyun, playing ‘Kaspar van Beethoven,’ heavily portray the character’s deep agony, while Park Si-won and Choi Ho-jung, playing ‘Franz Brentano,’ heighten the tension with a cold and intense aura.

Adding to the cast, Sung Min-jae and Yoo Yeon-jung delicately capture the pure and innocent emotions of ‘Bettina Brentano.’ Lee Sang-jun as ‘Baptiste Pizzocchi’ and Kang Sang-bum as ‘Duke Kinsky’ also bring their characters to life with natural charm, adding to the production’s quality.

Notably, this season of ‘Beethoven’ has dropped its previous subtitle, ‘Beethoven Secret,’ and will simply be titled ‘Beethoven.’ The production team has refined the narrative structure and character relationships, and they plan to present an even more intense stage with new songs by composer Sylvester Levy.

The musical ‘Beethoven’ will run from June 9 to August 11 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts Grand Theater. The second round of ticket sales opens on the 19th at 11 AM via Sejong Center Ticket, Melon Ticket, and NOL Ticket.
