The original voices that brought the magic of Studio Ghibli to life are heading to Seoul!
Studio Ghibli will host “The Music of STUDIO GHIBLI Original Singers Symphony,” marking the first-ever visit of the original singers to Korea, on June 6 at the Yonsei University Auditorium in Seoul.
The concert will feature a wide array of Studio Ghibli’s globally beloved masterpieces. Iconic OSTs from films like My Neighbor Totoro, Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky, Kiki’s Delivery Service, and Howl’s Moving Castle will be reborn through the vivid live performances of four original singers and the grand sounds of the Tokyo Asia Orchestra.

Most importantly, this is the first time the original singers of Studio Ghibli’s works have gathered for a performance in Korea. This event holds special significance as it goes beyond a simple orchestral concert, featuring the very voices that defined the identity of Ghibli animations.
To celebrate their first visit, Sumiko Shimamoto, Azumi Inoue, and Yuyu shared a special message via a greeting video, saying, “We are looking forward to the day we meet Ghibli fans in Korea. Let’s definitely meet at this performance!”
A concert official stated, “This stage is not just about reproducing the melodies on a score, but a place where the original singers will personally take the stage to awaken the memories audiences felt while watching the works. We are preparing a masterpiece performance that perfectly recreates the emotion of the original songs and can be enjoyed by all generations.”
