IVE is taking a strong stand against malicious posts!
On May 11, Starship Entertainment announced via their official channels that they are consistently taking legal action against those who create malicious posts targeting IVE members, including the spread of false information, sexual harassment, personal attacks, insults, and privacy violations.
Starship warned that there will be no leniency or exceptions, stating they will “pursue accountability to the end through all means permitted by law.”
The agency also revealed that complaints have been filed with investigative agencies regarding malicious activities across various SNS and online communities. They explained that “all such posts have been submitted as evidence for criminal proceedings, regardless of whether they were deleted, accounts were set to private, IDs were changed, or accounts were closed.”
Furthermore, they added that they have secured a massive amount of evidence regarding the creation and distribution of distorted content, including malicious rumors and deepfakes, and plan to continue their legal response.
Meanwhile, IVE is currently in the middle of their second world tour, ‘SHOW WHAT I AM’.
