Group POW is showcasing their musical talents with the release of “WHY”, the first song from their self-initiated project, “The Demo Tape”.
POW will drop “WHY”, the first track of “The Demo Tape #1”, on various music sites today, May 5, at 6 PM. This project was created to allow the members to turn their daily emotions into music, expand their creative skills, and share sincere messages.
Leading the way is Jungbin, who wrote and composed “WHY”. The song is an R&B Soul track that delicately describes the subtle emotions and confusion that arise within relationships, promising to resonate deeply with listeners.
“The Demo Tape” project works by turning the members’ personal stories into music and sharing them through listening sessions. They plan to offer comfort to the public by unfolding small, everyday emotions through their songs.
After wrapping up their “COME TRUE” promotions earlier this year, POW is aiming for musical growth with all members participating in the songwriting process for this project. They have focused on increasing the quality of the work by taking a leading role in everything from demo production to planning the listening sessions.
Starting with this project, POW plans to continue with various activities that highlight each member’s individuality, as well as a comeback in the second half of the year.
