V.O.S member Kim Kyung-rok recently gave fans a glimpse into his home, showing off a very special Han River view.
On the 12th, a video titled “The Man with a 12.8 Billion Won Han River View | First Reveal of V.O.S Kim Kyung-rok’s Home” was uploaded to his YouTube channel, ‘Wonderful Rock’.

During the visit, Kim Kyung-rok laughed, noting that this is the first time a camera has entered his home since his debut in 2004. He shared that after starting YouTube, he realized just how comfortably he had been spending his time.
When asked why he wanted to start YouTube, he explained, “I thought that when I’m gone one day, these records would allow my children to see their father in his 40s, 50s, and 60s.”
Regarding his current schedule, he revealed, “We usually work about three days a week, sometimes only two. January to March is the off-season since there are few events after the end of the year. I’m relaxed until March and get a bit busier in early April. I expect more schedules starting in May.”
He explained that his work mainly consists of stages, performances, and local events, where he often performs and judges music festivals. He candidly added, “I’ll judge if they pay more. Judging takes a surprisingly long time. Performing only takes 30 minutes, but judging can take two to two and a half hours. If the fee is a bit higher, I’ll do the judging too.”
As the home tour began, the production team was surprised, noting that it felt like a regular home rather than a celebrity’s residence. Kim Kyung-rok joked that the only “celebrity” vibe in the house was his stair climber exercise machine.
Explaining the expensive equipment in his living room, he said, “I was into hiking as a hobby last year. When my schedule didn’t allow me to go to the mountains, I decided I needed to feel like I was hiking for 30 to 40 minutes a day at home.” However, he sparked laughter by admitting, “I think I only used it about four times.”

He also showed the children’s room, which the crew noted had a great view. Kim Kyung-rok clarified, “This is the only Han River view here. As you can see, there’s a rainwater pumping station in front. You can see the Han River very slightly between the pumping station and the trees.” He then joked, “It’s a Han River view premium. Would you buy it for 12.8 billion won?”
He then visited a room he uses when he’s drunk or needs some alone time. The room was filled with manga like ‘Slam Dunk’ and ‘Kid Gang’. He mentioned that he gave away 80% of his collection, including ‘Rurouni Kenshin’, to comedian Kim Min-ki, who is a huge manga fan.
Kim Kyung-rok introduced his practice and work room as his “base of operations.” He explained that he invested in a full interior renovation to work seriously after using a small portable soundproof booth, but honestly confessed, “It’s actually just a room where I hang out.”
The studio was decorated with family photos and drawings made by his children. He expressed his affection, saying, “They make these at experience classes, and I just can’t throw them away, especially when my children’s names are on them.” He even shook his head, jokingly pleading with them not to stick photos on the drawings because it makes them impossible to discard.
Kim Kyung-rok married in 1989 and has one son and one daughter.
