The “Trot Emperor” Tae Jin-ah is showering Seong-ri with love after his big win on “Unknown Legend.” Known for his incredible support for junior artists, Tae Jin-ah sent his deepest congratulations and cheers to Seong-ri, who stayed strong on his musical journey despite facing hardships to eventually claim the victory.

On the 14th, Tae Jin-ah shared a photo on his Instagram capturing the moment Seong-ri was announced as the winner of MBN’s “Unknown Legend – Trot Men’s Hierarchy War.”
Having watched Seong-ri since his debut, Tae Jin-ah witnessed his journey of never giving up on his dream despite a difficult family environment, finally emerging from the long tunnel of obscurity through this win. Throughout Seong-ri’s time on “Unknown Legend,” Tae Jin-ah consistently offered encouragement through phone calls, texts, and mobile messages. Knowing exactly how hard Seong-ri worked to get here, Tae Jin-ah felt the victory was as emotional as if it were a family member’s achievement.
As if responding to this support, Seong-ri performed Tae Jin-ah’s hit song “Lover” during the semi-finals to determine the Top 10, earning massive praise and securing his spot in the finals.
In the final episode aired on the 13th, during the second round’s “Life’s Masterpiece Mission,” Seong-ri performed “Aega,” originally by Shin Yu. With his delicate voice and deep resonance, he won the competition by an overwhelming margin.
After being named the winner, Seong-ri shared, “I am so grateful. Since I first dreamed of becoming a singer, I think I faced more setbacks than I expected. While challenging myself through numerous auditions, I realized how difficult and hard it was, and there were times I almost gave up on my dream and learned how to do wallpapering. I feel it’s so amazing and I’m so thankful that not giving up on my dream has led to this dazzling day.”
