Lee Yong-sik’s Hearing Issues? Son-in-Law Won Hyuk Suggests a Hearing Test!

On the 14th, a video titled “Woniel finally stood up, so this is what a first birthday shoot is like” was released on the YouTube channel ‘Appo TV’.

In the video, Lee Yong-sik’s son-in-law, Won Hyuk, quickly lowered the volume of the TV, telling Lee Yong-sik, “The baby is sleeping, and the TV is too loud right now.” Lee Yong-sik responded that he couldn’t hear it at all.

Worried, Won Hyuk suggested, “Should we visit a hospital? Many people get hearing tests these days.” He added, “When we travel by KTX for events, you always have earphones in, and you listen to them at a very high volume.”

Lee Yong-sik opened up about his experience, saying, “After 50 years in broadcasting, the lighting damaged my eyes, and listening to the monitor sounds during 2 to 3 hour performances has put a strain on my ears.”

Lee Yong-sik later visited a hospital for a hearing test. The doctor diagnosed him, stating, “Your hearing is actually quite good, even for your age,” though he noted that Lee Yong-sik has difficulty hearing high-pitched sounds.
