Actress Jeon Won-ju has shared a surprising update after undergoing surgery for a hip fracture on her channel ‘Jeon Won-ju In-gong’.
In a recent video titled “Jeon Won-ju’s First Reveal of Her Son’s Han River View House!!” uploaded on May 12, Jeon Won-ju showed off her recovery by dancing and declaring she is in great health. The production team expressed concern, noting that hip surgery recovery typically requires a full year of careful attention, as such fractures can be critical for seniors.
However, Jeon Won-ju revealed that the experience actually changed her outlook on life. She even generously gave the staff 100,000 KRW each to buy meals. The team shared that many fans had left worried comments, wishing her a speedy recovery and good health.
Jeon Won-ju was visibly touched by the fans’ love. Her son recalled the frightening moment he received a call from emergency services (119) and found his mother in the emergency room. To help her recover, her daughter-in-law prepared nutritious foods like eel and supplements such as Omega-3, though Jeon Won-ju playfully told them to stop fussing over her.
Surprisingly, Jeon Won-ju shared that her hip fracture led to “love calls” from various hospitals. She stated, “I don’t limp at all. I’ve been getting calls from hip hospitals everywhere. When I asked if they’d pay me, they said they would!” leaving everyone shocked.
