Entertainer Kangnam fell into a total panic after losing the very first wallet his wife, Lee Sang-hwa, gave him during a trip to Japan.
On the May 14 episode of the YouTube channel ‘Neighborhood Friend Kangnam’, viewers saw Kangnam’s desperate struggle to find his missing wallet in Akihabara, Japan.
Kangnam couldn’t hide his anxiety, saying, “It’s been 30 minutes since I started looking for the wallet.” He kept praying, “I really hope the wallet comes back.”
This wasn’t just any ordinary wallet. Kangnam revealed, “It’s not just a wallet. It’s the first wallet Sang-hwa bought for me,” adding, “I feel like I’m going to die because I lost it.” Since the item held precious memories of his wife, Lee Sang-hwa, the shock was even greater. Once it was confirmed the wallet was gone, Kangnam sighed deeply and cried out, “I’m doomed!”
Even more heartbreaking was the fact that he usually carried the wallet in his back pocket. Upon hearing this, the production staff worried, saying, “That’s the perfect spot for a pickpocket.” Despite the stress, Kangnam tried to pull himself together, showing his professional side by saying, “Let’s at least finish the filming first.”
Kangnam then began a full-scale search with the staff, retracing his steps and checking every possible location. He even visited a local police station, but his wallet wasn’t on the lost and found list. The local police informed him that he needed to file an official missing person report for the item. Looking devastated, Kangnam lamented, “I just hope the wallet is at home,” leaving fans feeling sorry for him.
Because it was the first gift he received from Lee Sang-hwa, fans were equally anxious.
