Davichi’s Kang Min-kyung recently poked fun at her own acting skills.
On the 14th, a video titled “Sunbaenim, is that all you ate?” was uploaded to Kang Min-kyung’s YouTube channel ‘Gyang Min-kyung’.
Guest Hwasa shared that she is from Jeonju, explaining, “I moved to Seoul in my second year of high school. I had been going back and forth since my third year of middle school before finally settling in Seoul.”
Surprised by how little Hwasa uses a dialect, Kang Min-kyung watched as Hwasa showcased the Jeolla-do dialect she uses when meeting friends.
Kang Min-kyung tried mimicking the dialect herself, leading Hwasa to tease her, saying, “Sunbaenim, it’s really awkward.”

Kang Min-kyung jokingly retorted, “That’s why I’m not acting. This is exactly why I don’t do it,” bringing laughter to the set.
While Hwasa commented, “I think you have your own unique style of acting,” Kang Min-kyung continued her self-diss, saying, “From vuvuzelas to pterodactyls, there’s a lot. There are even hashtags for it,” causing a burst of laughter.
Kang Min-kyung then opened up, “It wasn’t easy at first. It was hard to endure people mocking me for those things,” but added, “But if people find joy in mocking me, isn’t that our role as entertainers?”
Hwasa confessed, “I watch them periodically,” to which Kang Min-kyung jokingly replied, “You’re the worst!”
