Choi Minho has proven himself to be the ultimate king of self-care in the entertainment industry, boasting an impressive 10% body fat rate and almost zero visceral fat during a detailed health checkup.
On his YouTube channel, ‘Choi Minho MINHO’, a video titled “Shocking body condition of someone who doesn’t diet. Revealing Minho’s physical exam results” was recently uploaded.
In the video, Choi Minho visits specialist Woo Chang-yoon for a comprehensive physical examination. Minho confessed that his workout intensity had decreased recently due to a busy schedule and visited the clinic to reflect on his habits.
The DEXA scan results were stunning, showing a height of 183cm and a body fat percentage of 10%, which is on par with professional athletes. Woo Chang-yoon was particularly amazed, noting that the visceral fat in Minho’s lower abdomen was so minimal it was barely measurable. He exclaimed, “I’ve never seen a male subject with such a metabolically healthy body.” He also praised Minho’s ideal inverted triangle physique, with a developed upper body and lean lower abdomen and calves, and his perfect balance, with only a 0.2cm difference in thickness between his legs.
Despite his near-perfect physical condition, there was one area for improvement: his eating habits. Minho admitted to enjoying carb-heavy meals like pizza and makguksu while neglecting protein. To help with efficient muscle growth, Woo Chang-yoon recommended adding about two eggs’ worth of protein to every meal.

Minho deeply agreed with the analysis that his muscle growth might have been slower than expected given his workout volume. He expressed his determination to fill those gaps by improving his diet and the quality of his sleep.
Minho’s strong character also shone through in the psychological analysis and overall evaluation. He was diagnosed as being in an optimal state for longevity, as his strong sense of responsibility and desire to meet others’ expectations harmonize perfectly with his exercise habits.
Scoring 69 points, surpassing the general target of 65, Minho concluded the session by promising to take even better care of his body and continue showing his fans a side of him that never stops challenging himself.
Meanwhile, SHINee is set to make a comeback in June with their sixth mini album, ‘Atmos’. All eyes are on member Key’s return, as he was previously embroiled in a controversy regarding his connection to the so-called ‘Jusa-imo’ involving entertainer Park Na-rae. At the time, Key apologized, stating, “I feel very sorry and ashamed toward the many people who trusted and supported me, as I feel I failed to look around me wisely,” adding, “I will take time to reflect on myself and my surroundings once again.”
